The catheter are made of smooth clear PVC that ensures efficient mucus suction while minimizing potential damage to the delicate tracheal mucous membranes. Customers can get these specially designed suction catheters for easy passage through plastic endotracheall and tracheotomy tubes with minimum irritation to patient. They have an open distal end with elliptical eye for easy and efficient suction. A color-coded connector is situated at proximal end for instant identification of catheter size and even they are provided with x-ray opaque line for radiological identification. Angiplast has made them available with thumb control device for positive control during suction and come in varied sizes like 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24.
