The hazards posed by various ignition sources are analyzed, and steps for their elimination and/or control are suggested; attention is also paid to electrostatic discharge as a potential ignition source for flammable atmospheres. Those operations that the software defines as hazardous have the appropriate prevention and protection measures recommended.
