Chemical Hose Pipe manufactured by Marine Rubber Industries also comes in 2 types. The first one is to convey dilute chemicals while the other hose type is to convey concentrated chemicals. Both these types are suitable for working pressure of 7 kg/cm2g and 10 kg/cm2g. Chemical Hoses are mostly applied to transfer acids and chemicals through pumping, suction and discharge method. The tube is constructed with an acid & chemical resistant synthetic rubber compound with a black coloured cover, which is again made up of weather, heat, chemical and abrasion resistant compound with orange strip. This particular hose has the capacity to work continuously up to 60°c temperature. The layers are intellectually reinforced with high synthetic textile, which is impregnated with elastomeric material and with steel wire helix.
