Suspension magnets are suspended over a conveyor belt to remove ferrous metal from the product being conveyed. Electro and permanent magnet style are also available to meet the needs of any problem. Suspension magnets are located over the drive pulley. When the magnet surface starts to fill up, swing the magnet away from the conveyor and cut the power (in case of electromagnet) or use wiper arm to release the attached metal.
